CRISIS & EMERGENCY POLICY
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Let’s Broach is NOT an emergency mental health provider or suicide intervention service.
1. NO EMERGENCY RESPONSE GUARANTEE
Messages sent through:
- WhatsApp,
- email,
- website forms,
- social media,
- appointment systems
may not receive immediate responses.
Therapists may not be continuously available.
2. NOT SUITABLE FOR CRISIS SITUATIONS
Services are not appropriate for:
- active suicide risk,
- self-harm emergencies,
- psychiatric hospitalization needs,
- violent emergencies,
- severe psychiatric destabilization,
- immediate crisis intervention.
3. IF YOU ARE IN CRISIS
If you are:
- suicidal,
- self-harming,
- in immediate danger,
- unable to maintain personal safety,
- experiencing psychiatric emergency,
please immediately contact:
- local emergency services,
- nearest hospital,
- suicide prevention helplines,
- trusted emergency contacts,
- emergency psychiatric providers.
Do not rely solely on digital communication with Let’s Broach during emergencies.
4. INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS
International clients acknowledge:
- emergency systems vary globally,
- therapists may not access local emergency systems,
- response limitations exist across borders.
Clients remain responsible for identifying local emergency resources.
5. EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION
Clients may be asked to provide:
- emergency contacts,
- current location,
- local emergency resources.
This information may be used if serious safety concerns arise.
6. CONFIDENTIALITY EXCEPTIONS
Where serious safety concerns arise, confidentiality may be limited to:
- contact emergency services,
- notify emergency contacts,
- facilitate safety intervention,
- comply with legal obligations.
7. THERAPIST DISCRETION
Let’s Broach reserves the right to:
- pause services,
- refer clients elsewhere,
- recommend hospitalization,
- discontinue treatment where clinically necessary.
